Bio
Richard Lombard is the founder and Executive Director of WorldviewU. He is an ongoing student and teacher of cultural intelligence and worldviews. One of his passions is teaching adults and students. Richard holds to the Christian worldview.
Richard is certified to teach cultural intelligence (CQ) and train other CQ instructors through the Cultural Intelligence Center (https://culturalq.com/).
At JPMorgan Chase Richard led the Cultural Conversation Group for 3 years, where monthly meetings were held to enhance employees’ cultural intelligence by discussing topics about culture. Sessions included such topics as dietary preferences, holidays and special occasions, specific cultures and religions, sports, arts, and cross-cultural communication.
He graduated from Denison University in Granville, Ohio (USA) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Earth Science (a combination of geology and geography). He also received a Master of Environmental Science degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He has completed a series of graduate courses in religious studies.
Richard worked in the information technology field in a variety of roles, including sales, marketing, technical support, project management, auditing, and cybersecurity. He has conducted numerous computer software marketing presentations in cities across the United States and Canada. He held the Project Management Professional (PMP) designation and was a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). He also has been a member of Toastmasters International.
He has traveled to Europe, Honduras, India, and Israel.
Richard is an outdoors enthusiast, hiker, and tennis player who longs to return to his college-playing form. He grew up in Columbus, Ohio, where he still resides and cheers on The Ohio State University Buckeyes.
