At WorldviewU, our workshops and courses have successfully helped countless clients develop a deeper appreciation for diverse cultures and viewpoints. About Richard Lombard
Richard is Executive Director and founder of WorldviewU, a nonprofit educational organization that helps people better understand the world’s belief systems. He not only teaches about worldviews, but is also an ongoing student of worldviews, a topic of nearly endless breadth and depth.
He has led workshops and presentations on worldviews for Columbus City Schools teachers, Upper Arlington Rotary Club, Ohio State University Women’s Club, and various schools and churches. He appeared on the “Truth Changes Everything” podcast hosted by Dr. Jeff Myers of Summit Ministries.
Richard is also a certified cultural intelligence instructor through the Cultural Intelligence Center. He has served on a cultural intelligence panel sponsored by the Columbus Chamber of Commerce and has given cultural intelligence presentations to the Central Ohio InfoSec Summit, ISACA, National Church Residences, One Dublin, and other organizations.
He developed and led cultural intelligence programs while working in information technology at JPMorgan Chase and Nationwide Insurance. At Chase, Richard started and led the Cultural Conversation Group for three years, where employees from around the world discussed a variety of cultural topics to enhance cultural intelligence.
His career in information technology included roles as a project manager, audit and compliance specialist, and cybersecurity specialist. Most recently, he worked in case management and fundraising for a nonprofit organization that serves refugees and immigrants.
Richard has a Master of Environment Science degree from Miami University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Earth Science from Denison University. He has completed several seminary courses on theology and related topics, has traveled to Canada, Europe, Honduras, India, and Israel, and lives in Columbus, Ohio.
